Pupil Premium
The Pupil Premium was introduced in April 2011, and paid to schools by means of a specific grant for pupils registered as eligible for Free School Meals from reception to Year 11, or those who are looked after by the Local Authority. A premium has also been introduced for children whose parents are currently serving in the armed forces. The Pupil Premium is used by Hounslow Heath School to address any underlying inequalities for children who are eligible, by ensuring that funding reaches the pupils who need it most.
